Super Mario Bros. - The Movie (The Game) [Demo]

Did you ever ask yourself: "How would have been a Philips CD-i game about the 1993 movie of the Super Mario Bros. look and play alike?" Yes? Feel free to try out this demo! If not, feel free to do so nevertheless!

You will find yourself in the deeps of New York's sewers and on the streets of Dinohattan to rescue Princess Daisy.

The first two levels are currently playable and demonstrate that the 90s Super Mario Bros. movie with its cyberpunk-esk setting actually had a lot of potential to be represented in a video game. While the first level is a typical platformer, the second is a top-down Frogger-style game. Controls are currently limited to the keyboard.

I hope you'll enjoy the short sneak-peak of a game, which could have been released in the year 1993.
